Polytunnel configurator

A few steps, one decision at a time. The configurator does not calculate a price — a sales advisor will prepare an offer based on your choice.

Indicative tunnel prices

Tunnel type

Single tunnels stand separately on ground anchors. Multibay tunnels are bays joined side by side on shared legs, with gutters.

Which type is right for you?

Select answers and we will suggest a tunnel type.

Which tunnel type?

Field and dimensions

Give the field dimensions — we will calculate how many tunnels or bays will fit and what area will be under cover.

We set the tunnels along the longer side.

Structure

Arch shape and steel. A round or gothic arch — we will match the hoop length to the width.

Arch shape

You choose the shape. We will match the hoop-tube length to the width.

Hoop tube

Y-leg

A leg with a welded Y-connector, screwed into the soil, steel E370+Z275. The Ø40 mm leg fits Ø40 mm hoops only.

Leg length

0.75Ø1 m of the leg is screwed into the soil; the rest sets the side-wall height of the tunnel.

Ground anchors

Ground anchors screwed into the soil, steel E370+Z275.

Tunnel uplift

The anchor protrudes this much higher and the whole tunnel is raised by the same amount.

Spacing between legs (hoops)

A smaller spacing means more hoops on the same length and a stronger structure. Standard: 2.5 m.

Reinforcements

We fit reinforcements on every hoop. Some are standard; you choose the rest for wind and snow.

W standardzie

Ridge tube. The tube runs the full length of the tunnel, 20 or 40 cm below the peak of the hoops. It stiffens the tunnel from above and stops the arches from spreading.

W standardzie

Lattice cables. 3 mm steel cables run from the Y-leg to the hoop and form a spider-web net inside the tunnel. They hold the tunnel in the wind and partly relieve it under snow.

Bracing variant

T and V are similarly effective.

Strongest combination in multibay tunnels: Lattice cables + horizontal bracing. Best in a T or V variant — both are similarly effective. The cables hold the tunnel in the wind, and the bracing together with the hoop forms a truss that carries the snow.

Film

We offer only tunnels with a single film. Warranty on the film: 3 years.

Ventilation

How you want to open the tunnel to let out heat and moisture.

Tunnel sides

Either fixed curtains or side ventilation — not both at once.

Roof ventilation (butterfly)

Opening wings in the roof, like a butterfly.

Doors

Roll-up doors in the gable walls — for access and airing.

Gutters

Rainwater gutters between the bays are an option — tick if you want to collect water.

Assembly

We can assemble the structure ourselves or supervise assembly by your crew.
